Learning Objectives
Develop an understanding of key foundations reading skills and how to implement these in today's diverse classrooms
Develop differentiated foundational reading instruction lessons, focusing on foundational reading skills that include concepts of print, phonetic awareness, phonics, and word analysis
Requirements
- TO EARN THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNIT:
- Complete 9.5 additional hours of implementation and reflection based on what you learned at the training
- Document your hours and activities using this log: https://bit.ly/EarlyLitLog
- Once complete, email the documents (implementation and reflection, and completed log) to Michelle Jones at TCSJ: mjones@teacherscollegesj.edu
- Michelle will review your work and issue you a Certificate of Completion
- To purchase the PDU: Click the Purchase PD Units link above, complete the request form, attach your Certificate of Completion, and submit payment
