The 2026 Early Literacy Institute is presented by the California Kindergarten Association & Teachers College of San Joaquin. The conference will begin with keynote speaker Greg Smedley-Warren and continue with many other wonderful presenters! This conference is especially designed for TK – 3rd grade educators.

Conference attendees will:

• Choose sessions that are tailored to their interests
• Have an opportunity to network with educators
• Develop an understanding of key foundations reading skills and how to implement these in today’s diverse classrooms
• Develop differentiated foundational reading instruction lessons, focusing on foundational reading skills that include concepts of print, phonetic awareness, phonics, and word analysis
• Come away with various strategies, supports, and resources that can be used in their educational setting immediately

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase 0.5 Professional Development Unit (PDU) for attending the conference. Please wait until after the conference to purchase, as your attendance will need to be verified.
