Sikh Heritage, History, and Global Diaspora provides a systematic examination of Sikh heritage, history, and migration in global perspective. The course addresses the origins and development of the Sikh religion; Sikh history, cultural heritage, and social institutions; networks of interrelation; patterns of Sikh migration; caste, class, and ethnic relations; the global Sikh diaspora; and relevant transnational issues and challenges.
